The D5 Harness is built to be the best-fitting harness for dachshunds and other long-bodied breeds. It's lightweight, durable, and made with premium materials — built tough for hard, rough use, with airflow that keeps your dog comfortable through walks, adventures, and even working shifts. Its laser-cut construction delivers a true tailored, low-profile fit instead of the generic, one-size-fits-most approach that can leave long, low-slung dogs uncomfortable or insecure. Developed after years of feedback from dachshund owners, the D5 features an extended-body cut that follows your dog's natural shape. We laser-cut the body panels themselves for a more ergonomic, contoured fit — engineering that goes into the pattern itself, not just the surface. Welded metal leash attachment points and a reinforced grab handle give you secure, confident control.
The ergonomic cut keeps chest and belly coverage as minimal as possible — since the chest is where dogs need cooling most — keeping your dog cool and moving naturally.
